- What should I do if my child is ill?
Phone school, using the option to leave a message regarding absence. Please tell us your childs symptoms and an estimated time of when your child will return to school. In cases of sickness and diarrhoea, please remember children may not return to school until 48 hours after the last episode.
- What should I do if my child has an appointment?
Although appointments out of school time are preferred, we appreciate at times this is impossible. Contact us, letting us know when your child will be in school, collected from school or returning to school. Advise us if your child will still need a school lunch. When you collect or return your child, please call in at the office, so your child can be marked on the register.
- Where do I buy the school uniform from?
Whittakers in Farsley stock items with the school logo.
Supermarket and high street versions are also acceptable.
- How do I find out if school is open when it snows?
Parentmail, website and Local Authority website will have this information. See 'Adverse Weather' page.
- What should I do if my child needs medicine?
Prescribed medicines may be administered by staff in school. Complete the Medicine Administration form and return to the school office. In some cases, we may administer medicines such as Piriton, Calpol and cough medicines. Please ring to check if you are unsure.
- What should I do if my child has an allergy or special dietary requirements?
Contact us so we can make arrangements with the kitchen and class teachers to ensure your childs needs are met.
